If you haven't heard of Khombu yet, you're in for a pleasant -- and comfy -- surprise. Khombu's Snowflake IIs are a well-made faux leather with a soft, plush lining in brown or black with a charming metal snowflake button circling the calf. Traverse is another waterproof snow boot with serious traction and an attractive mix of treated suede and a warm, woven material that resists slushy snow. Salomon develops snowboard boots as well as snowboards, so they know how to make a great snow boot for everyone else.
