A genuine Mercury dime, minted from 1916-1945, serves as a unique and historical pendant on our exquisite sterling silver necklace. Considered one of the most beautiful of all US coins, it was designed in 1916 by Adolph Weinman. Displays Liberty in a winged cap, symbolizing freedom of thought, on the obverse...the Roman fasces with olive branch detail on the reverse. It's securely mounted in a scored sterling bezel and slides freely on an eighteen-inch sterling snake chain with bead detail. Boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
