Working with black spinel and recycled silver, the Jimenez Family handcrafts these modern earrings. Silver is obtained from different film and photographic sources, which is combined with the necessary alloy for these sterling silver earrings.

Story Behind the Art:
After working for silversmiths for 6 years, Guatemala's Jimenez Family decided to open their own workshop. Since they are all involved in their family business, the Jimenez Family says, 'we've developed a good working relationship in which everyone specializes in a different aspect and we complement each others' work.'
