In a world dominated by males, Samantha Taylor not only holds her own, but has a winning record as a stock car driver at the dirt track at Fonda Speedway. She is a skilled mechanic who, with the help of her friend and fellow worker, builds her own cars and makes most of her own repairs. Her dream is to become a NASCAR driver and begin to move up in the faster, more challenging ranks of stock car racing on asphalt tracks. Accidents and setbacks threaten to destroy her dream of becoming a NASCAR driver but Samantha never gives up hope.
