EPA is the precursor to series-3 prostaglandins (PG), the series-3 thromboxanes (TX) and the series-5 leukotrienes (LT). More specifically, EPA is a precursor to eicosanoids (TXA3 and LTB5), which promote normal platelet activity and promote normal vasodilation. These effects demonstrate EPA’s potential ability to help maintain normal blood pressure and support normal blood clotting. Fish oils inhibit the arachidonic acid synthesis of thromboxane A2, which help to promote normal platelet activity and vasodilation. Omega-3 fatty acids compete metabolically with omega-6 fatty acids found in higher amounts in typical western diets. Omega-6 fatty acids may inhibit the incorporation of omega-3 fatty acids into tissue lipids. Omega-3 fatty acids may inhibit the conversion of many omega-6 fatty acids into arachidonic acid. The consumption of omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA appears to result in a corresponding increase of these fatty acids in cell membranes and circulatory lipids, along with a simultaneous reduction in omega-6 fatty acids.* Vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) 23 IU The most valuable sources of dietary vitamin E include vegetable oils, margarine, nuts, seeds, avocados and wheat germ. A year ago I started using these products and I can honestly say that I'm happy with the results. Prior to using TLS Optimal Wellness Kit, I was on Vitamin B complex for stress in my 20's, then in my 40's I started taking omega III and multivitamins, sparingly. Now in my early 50's, I began to notice the joints in my fingers, esp. my right hands were beginning to be somewhat painful. Having changed to the TLS Optimal Wellness Kit on a daily basis, brought to my attention by consultant, Marc Choong, I can honestly say the pain has diminished tremendously. Due to workplace stress in my late 20's, I was using Vitamin B complex daily (various brands), then in my 40's I sparing used omega III and multivitamins. Now in my early 50's, I began to notice the joints in my fingers, esp. my right hands were beginning to be painful - but no more! Now I've changed to the TLS Optimal Wellness Kit on a daily basis which was brought to my attention by consultant, Marc Choong. I like the isotonic formulation since I'm not a fan of the tablet/pill form. Next I'll be using the Isotonix OPC-3 in addition to my regimen. Thanks Marc!
I use the product per the instructions. I have been using it for about a week, and it seems to be fine. It takes a long time for the powders to dissolve in water, so I usually fix it while I am fixing my coffee, and drink the liquid with my breakfast. The reason for 3 stars is this is advertised as a one month supply. The two powders that are in the kit are a one month supply. The Heart Health Omega Three fish oil softgels, however, are a two month supply. I ordered what I thought was a two month supply and ended up with two months of vitamins and 4 months worth of the Heart Health. If you don't want to end up with extra, you need to order the vitamins separately every other month. I would recommend the product with reservations because of this.
easy to use, as long as i remember to take it before i eat. its just forming new habits. price is affordable.
