Task Analysis

Summarizes current research and advanced practice in methods of collecting, classifying, and interpreting data on human performance, known collectively as task analysis. Discussion ranges in scope from classical ergonomics to cognitive psychology, software engineering, and systems design. Specific topics include integrating task and data flow analyses using the pentanalysis technique, structured task analysis in complex domains, and cognitive task analyses for decision centered design and training.
