The Alarm - Live in the Poppy Fields (Pan & Scan)
Item 636551452175
Throughout the 1980s, the Welsh rock group The Alarm crafted impassioned, anthemic songs marked by ringing guitars and socially conscious lyrics. After the band's official demise in 1991, lead singer-guitarist Mike Peters carried on the torch through solo projects and various incarnations of his former band. Recorded at London's La Scala in March 2004, LIVE IN THE POPPY FIELDS captures The Alarm's reformed lineup--Peters, guitarist James Stevenson (Generation X), bassist Craig Adams (Mission UK), and drummer Steve Grantley (Stiff Little Fingers)--in a live performance of songs from their 2004 album, IN THE POPPY FIELDS, as well as older classics like "68 Guns," "Spirit of '76," and "Blaze of Glory."
