The Carversville Inn
"After pursuing a degree in business administration, Chef Will Mathias pursued his passion for cooking by attending the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. In his 25+ year career he has worked in various restaurants in Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, New York, and Connecticut before settling in Bucks County in 1989. The menus reveal the chef's Southern roots, classical training, and familiarity with the diversity and variety of American regional cuisine. The offerings encompass a broad spectrum of choices, including classical French, Spanish, Southern, and Asian cuisines, with options to please all palates. The Inn's location in Bucks County allows for easy access to local meats and produce. All of the desserts are prepared on the premises, including the homemade ice creams and sorbets in flavors that vary daily. The comprehensive wine list includes both domestic and imported selections from vineyards in California, Oregon, France, Australia, Italy, and GermanySusan Yeske just wrote an article on the Inn for the Dining Out section of the September 24, 2009 issue of the Bucks County Herald. The article is entitled ""Off the beaten path with a sense of history - Diners return again and again to Carversville Inn"". Come and visit us tonight and you will find the hidden jem in Bucks County"
