Details
Miscellaneous On its 2007 full-length self-titled debut, the Choir Practice gives choral music a decidedly indie-pop bent. Although the 12-member Vancouver-based ensemble, led by Coco Culbertson (the Gay), is more vocal-centric than kindred spirits such as the Polyphonic Spree, it still incorporates some instrumentation (mainly spare guitar lines) into its primarily a cappella sound, resulting in an uplifting aesthetic that makes the most of its nine female and three male voices (see the buoyant "Little Hands").
