Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this alarm clock and weather monitor projects the current time and outdoor temperature onto your ceiling or wall in large, easy-to-read digits. A built-in sensor detects ambient light and activates the large LCD's backlighting for a clear view. Shows time, alarm, temperature at the three included sensors' locations, and weather forecast icons. Time is automatically updated via radio signal from the Atomic Clock in Boulder, Colorado. With dual alarm and snooze. Plugs into AC. Requires eight AA batteries. 4 1/2" H x 1 1/4" W x 6 1/2" D. (11 oz.)

"Item was listed as "in stock" when I ordered it on-line. Next day I get an email saying the item is out of stock and they don't know when it will be available. The explanation when I called was that even though the item was in stock when I ordered it on-line, I must have been preempted by someone who ordered it over the phone at the same time I was ordering it on-line. Bunch of hooey. Bottom line is, it was supposed to be a Christmas gift, and now that won't happen. This is a disorganized outfit, and I'll never purchase anything from them again. " |
