Ultimate Direction SpeeDemon
The Ultimate Direction SpeeDemon is the "cat's meow" in adventure racing hydration backpacks. If has all the technical features you'd expect in a "state-of-the-art" hydration pack. Because adventure racers often compete under extreme weather conditions, the SpeeDemon starts with a Hypalon waterproof coating on the pack's inside and continues with waterproof zippers. The top loading, main compartment has 2300 cu. in. of storage, with an additional top mounted storage pocket, wide mesh side pockets and a wide front bungee compressible mesh pocket for stashing a helmet. The torso suspension system is adjustable, the back panel is coated with wicking 3D AirMesh fabric, and additional water bottle holsters can be attached to the shoulder straps to augment the 96 oz. reservoir. There are even straps to secure your trekking poles and ice axe. Just showing up at the starting line with the Speedemon lets the competition know you're a serious contender.
