Datawatch Corporation's Monarch software is a Windows client "Report Mining" application that easily extracts data from existing reports produced by any information system, along with easy data analysis, graphing, exporting data to Excel, Access, etc.
Unlike other solutions to access and analyze business data, Monarch requires no programming skills and no assistance from the IT department. Monarch empowers anyone in the organization to access and work with needed data, not just a select group of "power users" with advanced technology skills.
Managers and workers often find it difficult to get the timely, accurate data they need to effectively perform their jobs. They might struggle with a complex report writer or other business intelligence tool to directly pull data from corporate databases on their own; requiring substantial end-user support and training from the IT department. Or, they might wait for the IT department to build a custom report or data query for them. Either option may result in frustrating delays, causing missed deadlines or lost opportunities.
For these reasons, managers and workers often must resort to printing and flipping through thick paper reports, including rekeying report data into a spreadsheet for analysis and other action. Managers and workers often comment, "All of the data I need is buried somewhere in this paper report. If only I there was some easy way to get at it." That "easy way" is Monarch. Monarch eliminates the problems of working with paper reports by enabling easy transformation of reports into live, actionable data, using Monarch's easy, programming-free Report Mining user interface, to easily mine data from a report and then analyze and export the data at anytime.
Monarch Standard easily mines data from text-based report files (also known as print files, spool files, etc.), along with robust data analysis, and easy export of data to Excel, Access, etc., along with an exciting host of new capabilities designed to dramatically improve employee productivity and business decision making.
