Watch the Video Below Just before the holidays, people wait for hours at the Willie Bird ranch in Sonoma County, California, to buy fresh free-range turkeys. The ranch, which has raised poultry without the use of hormones or antibiotics for more than 50 years, feeds its turkeys natural grains and vegetable proteins. The combination of a varied diet and the ability to roam freely outdoors produces a very juicy, flavorful bird for your holiday feast. Quantities are limited. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.To determine what size turkey you'll need, we recommend that you plan on 1 1/4 lb. per person; for a party of ten, for instance, you should order a 12 1/2 lb. turkey. To ensure leftovers, plan on ordering 1 1/2 lb. per person. Thanksgiving turkeys arrive the Tuesday before Thanksgiving; please place your order by noon (PST) November 20. Christmas turkeys arrive the Tuesday before Christmas; please place your order by noon (PST) December 19 for Christmas delivery.
