About Alyssa Ashley

As the flagship line of IPD Inc., which also distributes a number of prestige and mass market fragrance brands in the United States including Le Jardin, Romeo Gigli and Ozbek, Alyssa Ashley fragrances have been around since 1969, and the brand continues to show steady growth with new fans of the signature Musk scent. IPD itself was formed in 1998 with the intent to revitalize and expand the Alyssa Ashley perfume line. Based in Connecticut with Peter Whitaker as the president and CEO, IPD has built an entire franchise around the brand, extending it with White Musk, Green Tea and Fizzy Alyssa Ashley eau de toilettes and body sprays. The company has also recently added new items, such as Alyssa Ashley body lotion and shower gel.

The brand has seen many changes over the years; Renaissance Cosmetics acquired Alyssa Ashley in 1994 from the Parfums Parquet Division of Houbigant, a perfume manufacturer founded in Paris in 1775 and the originator of the product line. Today's collection includes moisturizers and lotions which use natural extracts, essential oils and ingredients such as coconut milk, lanolin and geranium for soothing, luxurious softness. Alyssa Ashley shower gels are exceptionally gentle, cleansing the skin without drying by using many of the same ingredients found in the lotions. From simple to sensual, this brand offers delectable and timeless fragrances for women who appreciate sophistication.
