Capresso Inc. merged with Jura-Capresso LLC to form Jura-Capresso Inc. Jura AG was founded in Switzerland in 1931 and is renowned worldwide for its automatic coffee centers. The Capresso brand produces coffee makers that use high quality heating elements to assure ideal brewing temperatures of over 200 degrees F during the brewing process and approximately 180 degrees F coffee temperature directly after brewing in the carafe. With the European conical shaped filter, Capresso coffee makers produce stronger flavored coffee. Capresso coffee machines are programmable with illuminated displays Espresso machines are also produced by Capresso, using high pressure and short brewing time to release less caffeine and prevent the extraction of bitter oils, thereby maximizing the flavor and the aroma of the coffee. Forcing water at a high pressure through packed coffee offers the water resistance needed to produce the perfect espresso. The foam on the top traps the taste within for richer flavor.
