| EasyWalker began in 1989 with a concept by company founder René Floore, who was so inspired by joggers from the United States that he decided to introduce his own innovative design to the Netherlands for a new style of baby buggy: one that is functional, light, easy to use, durable, and also beautiful. The company calls the result of their research and development a typically Dutch design with an international image . Their no-nonsense approach incorporated a sporty but simple design with all-terrain functionality, beginning with their first model, the Classic EasyWalker single strollers. In 2006, EasyWalker expanded to add two new styles to their product line. One of these was the aptly-named Duo, an EasyWalker double stroller. By this time, the basic Easy Walker stroller designs had become highly adaptable, including features like 360-degree seat rotation, and many models included EasyWalker stroller accessories like stroller canopies, car seat adapters and an optional carrycot . While all designs up to this point used the stable tripod wheel style, EasyWalker introduced their four-wheeled QTRO design in 2009 for better performance over the toughest terrain. Keeping it simple and making it right remains EasyWalker's mantra in every jogging stroller they design.
