| The high-end fashion brand, Faconnable has its roots in the luxe legacy of France, luxurious fabrics and tradition. The brand name is synonymous with exceptionally tailored designs in luxurious fabrics as well as their attention to detail. The refined elegance of both casual as well as career styles for Facconable men and Facconable women is the cornerstone of the company. The company began as a small custom tailor shop that Jean Goldberg opened in 1950 in Nice, France. The tiny tailor shop was making custom tuxedos for the Hollywood stars by 1958. Goldberg's son, Albert took over the shop and renamed it Faconnable, based off of French word "Façonner," which means "to create." The brand spread like wild fire, opening boutiques in Monte Carlo, Cannes and Saint-Tropez, and finally an outlet in Paris. The success of the line in the US led the company to expand its product US line to include clothing and accessories for women in 1995. The line includes everything for men and women, including wonderful Facconable fragrances. Every piece is finely tailored in the spirit of Goldberg's original tiny tailor shop. The women's Linen Shirtdress and Cotton Shirtdress are gorgeous summer classics, while the men's cardigan is a regal infusion of tradition and trend.
