| Fergie made her start in the entertainment business as a voice-over in made-for television cartoons. She also starred in the TV show, Kids Incorporated with which she started a female trio group with two other co-stars from the show. After leaving the girl trio, Wild Orchid, she was asked by will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas to sing female vocals on a few of their songs. She was then offered a permanent spot with the Black Eyed Peas and many songs thereafter hit the Billboard Hot 100. Fergie debuted her solo album in 2006 that was an instant success and she continued touring with the Black Eyed Peas. She married in 2009 and currently she continues to be a singer-songwriter, rapper, fashion designer and actress. Her shoe and handbag line is reminiscent of her naughty but nice personal style with platform ankle boots, zippers and hardware, snakeskin and animal prints and other edgy pieces. The prices are very reasonable and featured in many retail stores. When working with her designers, she pulls inspiration from the designers she admires, her travels and colors she enjoys. She likes to combine different cultural ideas into her pieces that remain fun and edgy.
