The Italian pioneer Achille Gaggia has been established as the Father of the Modern Espresso Machine. He is responsible for the invention of the first lever piston espresso machine in 1948. He applied for his patent for the steamless coffee machine in 1938 to be used commercially in his coffee bar. The Gaggia Company was founded in 1947 and formally formed in 1948. It first produced machines for commercial use, but in 1977 it produced its first machines for home use, which has become its primary focus.
Gaggia was driven by passion and inspiration, and the current developers at the company are no different. Their dedication to their craft has allowed the renowned Gaggia name to dominate the market and retain its position as the top manufacturer of home Gaggia espresso machines in Italy. With its well known history of invention, Gaggia has perfected all of its espresso machines and other small appliances.
Their Gaggia coffee grinders are at the top of the list for customers. They are of commercial grade, similar to those found in espresso bars in Europe. The automatic dosing allows just the premeasured amount of ground coffee to drop directly into the filter holder. Then, you may pull the lever to choose number of cups. This grinder allows for 39 degrees of fineness.
