About Kushies

Kushies Baby designs, manufactures and markets an innovative collection of quality baby products and accessories. Mary Malinowski of Stoney Creek, Ontario, established the company as Diana Dolls Wear Ltd. in 1953. Today, Kushies is located in a huge, beautiful facility, less than an hour's drive outside of Toronto, Canada. Every aspect of the corporate and manufacturing personnel is neatly arranged in one place, maximizing efficiency.

Kushies made a name for themselves when they revolutionized the diaper world with a one hundred percent reusable cotton diaper. After a year of exhaustive testing and refining, they patented the Kushies diaper. The hard work paid off, the public couldn't get enough of the environmentally friendly diaper. This was a product that made it convenient for earth-minded parents and babies to do their part. Little more than one year later, Kushies was the industry leader, the sales were exponential and Kushies went global.

Kushies uses an adjustable hook and loop closure system and six layers of cotton flannel. All of this is wrapped up in a decorative and waterproof exterior with no diaper cover required.
