| Originally developed in 1976 by Ruth Handler, Nearly Me Technologies, Inc., specializes in the manufacture of silicone and foam healthcare products for the post-mastectomy market. Herself a breast cancer survivor, Handler discovered that at the time, the breast foams available were not realistic, comfortable, beautiful or easily purchased. Ruth Handler was the creator of the Barbie doll and former CEO of the Mattel Corporation. With the resources to design and develop breast foam for herself, she created Nearly Me so that other women would have access to a high-quality breast prostheses. Continuing that tradition, the brand creates products that not only fit the physical needs of the mastectomee, but the emotional ones as well. The products are designed to make women feel and look beautiful after breast surgery. All products are made in Waco, Texas, making them affordable and allowing for quick availability throughout the world. Nearly Me sells not only breast foams and Nearly Me silicone enhancers, but Nearly Me bras and lingerie as well. A number of shapes and sizes are available for the best and most natural looking fit. Skincare products, such as Retouch Scar Reduction Sheets, Tender Touch Silicone Pads and Body Guard Pressure Pads are also available.
