About Roxy

Born from Quiksilver when they decided to start a women' s line in 1990, Roxy started out as swimwear line within Quiksilver and quickly became a sportswear line including denim and snowwear pieces. Quiksilver offered surf inspired clothing while Roxy became its daughter sportswear line. The heart-shaped crest of the Roxy logo was adapted from the Quiksliver logo. Roxy was one of the first to create the women's Roxy board shorts and forever changed the women's surf market.

Roxy jeans, Roxy bikinis, Roxy halter tops, Roxy hoodies, and more became Roxy casual wear worn by millions of girls across the globe.

In 1994, Roxy had its first women's surf team and with luck and a lot of skill, made out with a few world titles. In the next year, Roxy had created Roxy Pro Hawaii, a world ASP surfing championship and following its success, Roxy Pro Fiji, Roxy Pro Gold Coast and the Roxy Jam UK.

As Roxy became more and more popular, Roxy flip flops and Roxy wedge sandals as well as accessories and eyewear joined the ever-evolving line. In 1997, Roxy created a children's line along with Roxy handbags, Roxy sandals, Roxy comforters and Roxy bedding sets. Roxy became a household name in home bedding and clothing.

Roxy is now a $400 million lifestyle brand with products for every aspect of a girl's life from handbags to fragrances, wetsuits to bikinis. Their motto of daring, confident, naturally beautiful, fun and alive lives on.
