About Shirley of Hollywood

In his early days, founder Herman Schlobohm sold his lotions and supplies to the local New York bra and corset industry. Moving west to start the National Corset Supply House in 1948, Herman Schlobohm settled in California. Now on the west coast, his sons Jon and Roy joined in the business in 1960. In 1961, the National Corset Supply House started manufacturing products focusing on Shirley of Hollywood sleepwear and lingerie and Shirley of Hollywood underwear and panties. Now that the company was growing quick, they purchased the name Shirley of Hollywood in 1970 from a long-time customer. Now, third generation Schlobohms have jointed the fray.

Expanding out, Shirley of Hollywood finds itself with top of the line art departments and top of the line sewing facilities nationwide and abroad. Keeping quality and family as its keys to success, Shirley of Hollywood continues to use unique fabrications and a variety of laces and trims from well over 200 resources. They have also made a habit of employing families who devote an average of 15 years of hard work and dedication to the product line. Shirley of Hollywood prides itself on holding the respect of its peers through talent, quick turn around and the energy they bring to their services.
