| Easily identifiable by their knit-in hems, St. John clothing is an upscale American fashion brand specializing in executive and somewhat casual apparel for women. Founded in 1962 by Robert and Marie Gray, the company eventually developed a signature knit blend, the Santana, which combines wool and rayon for a remarkably flattering look. Lace or floral-knit St. John jackets are equally comfortable as outerwear for cold evenings as for office attire. The company's Yellow Label collection represents their more casual styles, which includes jeans, leggings and tunics.
