Founded in 2002 by Jeffrey Lubell, True Religion provides premium denim jeans for men, women and children. Inspired by 1970s jean wear, True Religion makes quality, American-made jeans that are great fitting and trend setting.
True Religion has branched out to include knit and woven sportswear, such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants and western shirts that have that vintage feel, yet appeal to today's consumers. The timeless style, perfect fit and hippie bohemian chic flair has made the True Religion brand appealing around the world. True Religion owns and operates its own branded retail stores throughout the United States. Plans are in the making to expand its distribution through retail stores in Canada, Asia and Europe.
Numerous licensed products are also offered in the areas of headwear, eyewear, socks, footwear, swimwear, hosiery and fragrances. The men and women's collection in addition include vests, jackets, shorts, skirts, hats, belts, tanks and activewear. The jean collections for both men and women include a wide variety of jeans including skinny, straight leg, flare, cargo, bootcut, trouser and wide leg. Jackets for men and women are made of leather, denim or nylon with the same great fitting feature and quality as that of True Religion's jeans.
