About Twinlab

Founded in 1968 in their New York garage by David and Jean Blechman, Twinlab Corporation manufactures and markets minerals, Twinlabs vitamins, herbs, Twinlab teas and Twinlabs bodybuilding supplements. Using his 20-years of experience as a pharmaceutical salesman, Blechman named his company after his two sets of twins and started marketing his liquid protein supplement from his garage.

Twinlab enjoyed much success with its liquid diet system, especially after several books were written about the benefits and the success of a liquid diet. Its products promoted fitness and weight management while providing essential vitamins and minerals. In 1980, Twinlab branched out into the publishing business by purchasing Advanced Research Press, Inc., which published the bodybuilding magazine Muscular Development, among other magazines.

In late 2003, IdeaSphere Inc. (ISI) acquired Twinlab, locating in a 170,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in American Fork, Utah. There they manufacture, package and distribute over 1,000 premium quality capsule, powder, tablet, liquid, tea and herbal products with the help of experts in the nutrition field.
