The Catbox is a sturdy, all-wood, furniture-grade cabinet complete with front doors and a tray platform on sliding brackets that pulls out for easy tray removal. The plastic litter pan (available separately) is completely enclosed, which not only helps keep the inside litter from getting on the floor, but also effectively helps to trap the odors inside and keep them to a minimum. The cat entrance can be on either side or even both… it’s up to you.

Maple Wood, Satin Finish
Part of our newest line, this natural maple piece is finely sanded to a smooth finish and then beautifully covered with a satin coat of laquer to bring out the pastel glow of beautiful maple. This cabinet is always a handsome and useful addition to any pastel or light-hued décor!

The CATBOX™ is 100% wood. The metal brackets and door hinges are the only exception. The CATBOX™ contains NO PRESSWOOD. Every CATBOX™ comes complete with a back and a bottom under the sliding tray to keep in those unpleasant odors and help protect your floor or carpeting. The sliding tray can be quickly slid open and lifted out for easy interior cleaning.

We offer seven different finishes to select from. The CATBOX™ is always shipped complete – NO ASSEMBLY REQUIRED.

You choose whether you want right entry, left entry, or our unique "dog-proof" top entrance option, recommended for people with dogs who love to "snack" on cat items that they really shouldn't be eating.

Dimensions:

• The outer dimensions of the CATBOX™ are: width - 27.5", depth - 17", and height - 20".
  
• The inner dimensions of the CATBOX™ are: height - 17", width - 24" total, and 20" for inside the tray, depth - 16" total, and 14" for inside the tray.
  
• The CATBOX™ weighs roughly 40 pounds.
  
• The standard side entrance / opening(s) is 8" wide and 10" high. This should be large enough for all domestic cats to easily pass through. You may also choose a larger opening at 10"x10". The size of the front opening (behind the front doors) is 22" wide and 14" high.
  

Litterpan Sizes:
The CATBOX™ is specifically designed to easily fit all three standard size litter trays sold in pet stores. These usually have base dimensions of:

• SMALL: width: - 12.5", depth - 9" and height - 4"
  
• MEDIUM: width - 16", depth - 11", height - 5.5"
  
• JUMBO: width - 19", depth - 13" and height - 7".
  
• The maximum allowable tray would be 22" wide and 16" deep (our Giant Litter tray, which you can choose an accessory)
  

Options:

• Interior Water Seal
  Many cat-lovers have found that things aren't always perfectly placed around the litter pan. The size of the litter pan doesn't matter. You just can't teach a cat how to aim if they don't want to! Not to worry... this option will take care of that predicament. By having us treat the interior of your cabinet with a permanent water sealer, you'll be able to wash off any unwanted items again and again. Warm water and a soft scrub, along with a quick towel dry, will have your Catbox cabinet fresh and clean like new again!

• Giant Litter Pan
  The largest litter pan that fits perfectly into your new Catbox! Made of tough shatterproof plastic, this giant measures 22" long and 16" wide and is guaranteed to hold as much litter as you will need to get the job done!

• Teflon Slides
  Recommended for hard surface floors or whenever The Catbox cabinet will be moved at regular intervals, these teflon slides actually have a rated capacity of 1,600 lbs! Imagine how easily your Catbox will glide back and forth. Don't worry... the Catbox stays put during regular operation and cleaning.

• Litter Mat
  This simple but effective unbreakable and washable vinyl litter mat makes sure the litter doesn't wind up all over the house!
  

Catbox cabinets, depending on the model, have an unfinished Birch or Mahogany panel in the back. We understand that some of you cat lovers may want to place your beautiful Catbox in a "freestanding" area where the rear of the cabinet can be seen. By adding a finished back, we will stain or paint, putty, sand and finish the back of the cabinet to match the rest of it. THE BACK PANEL MAY NOT BE THE SAME WOOD AS THE REST OF THE CABINET, but it will be the same color and have the same finish.
