Pros: Virtually swallows any tape and converts it to other standards. Works with any TV
Cons: Setup not as easy as other units. Costs as much as two VCR's
The Bottom Line: Once you get through the setup, you never worry about the TV standards again. Put any tape in an watch it. Picture quality is excellent

Cons: Awful build quailty.. unit failed 2 times and needed repair
The Bottom Line: If you have to get this VCR for overseas tapes and home movie conversion, but the VCR from a reputable company and purchase the extended warranty
