My husband (before he passed away at 92 1/2 years) and me now have been taking Isotonix products for 3 decades+ and love the quality. However, the new packaging with the pretty white cap is nice looking but not practical for measuring water. The clear caps with a line on them were PERFECT. Now a new person needs to find a measuring cup to measure the water correctly. Having the clear plastic cups with the bottles was so much more practical and easier for traveling. I would like to know WHY the measuring cup was discontinued. The only reason I can think of is cosmetic. Please return the clear measuring caps to the isotonix bottles!!! It's a shame to have such a wonderful product with no measuring caps. Product=5 stars; new caps=1 star.

Garbage Ingredients and Horrible Customer Service

I purchased this product because it was recommended by a trusted source. Upon opening it and tasting it I noticed a very fake flavor. I then read the ingredients and was horrified to see that it contains the most gut, disturbing ingredient, known to mankind, maltodextrin. The other ingredients are fructose, glucose, citric acid, silica and modified food starch. I contacted a person at the company about getting a refund only to be told the ingredients are premium non-gmo products.
Do not buy from Isotonix because their profit is more important than your health

We appreciate your comments regarding the ingredients. The sugars in the Isotonix are necessary for the isotonicity of the solution. Without the sugar, the product would not be isotonic. We do our best to use the least amount as possibly needed, but we cannot remove them completely. The types of sugars used in Isotonix products are carefully selected to be the right kind and in the right ratio to create an isotonic-capable powder and to regulate gastric emptying, preventing saturation of nutrient absorption sites. Our goal is to provide high-quality, non-GMO ingredients that meet our customers' needs and expectations. We understand that ingredient preferences can vary, and we are sorry to hear that our product did not meet your expectations in this regard.
Regarding your experience with our customer service, we aim to provide excellent support to all of our customers and regret that you did not receive the assistance you were seeking. The first thing is that I think everyone knows that Isotonix is one of the greatest products we’ve ever developed. However, I’m disappointed with the new the bottle. I like the new look of the bottle and the label. But the cap is a real issue with my customers. The cap holds enough water for one serving however when you fill it to the top to get the correct water amount and they try to stir their isotonix or other products, the three tabs in the bottom of the cap that is used to snap the cap onto bottle gets in the way of stirring the product. Also filling the cap with the correct amount of water in the cap they wind up spilling the product. So they’re using the old cap instead. Maybe we need to rethink the design.
