Every stage in the making of this beautiful set involved human hands. From quarrying - bringing to the surface - cutting to art size pieces - shaping - polishing, etc. The only element of carbon footprint is transportation from the Artisan to you. Artisans use natural dyes; the carver cuts to size, shapes, and defines the stone using only basic hand tools and hand-applied finishes for a one-of-a-kind art piece.
