At first a slow growing Hoya with large, succulent, heart shaped leaves. Once it gets going it is a fast grower and will need a lot of room. Once root-bound it blooms often during the warmer months. The Sweetheart Waxplant (Hoya kerri) is an extemely easy to grow indoor vine. Provide morning sun or very bright, indirect light. Water when dry. Trim as needed. Plus it has spectacular flowers when older Crème & Green Sweetheart Leaf Hoya (Hoya kerrii 'Variegata') One of our favorite hoyas of all time because of its unique waxy foliage that resembles heart-shaped leaves. Each large leaf has a creamy, white border with a green center making this succulent a cherished addition to any unusual plant collection. It’s a slow, strong grower and the heavy vine can wrap itself around any trellis or other support. It flowers reliably in the summertime but the flowers are inconspicuous.
