Product Brochure

Isotonix OPC-3 Powder Drink is an isotonic-capable dietary supplement that is made from a combination of grape seed, red wine and pine bark extracts. Isotonic supplements bear chemical resemblance to your own tears and plasma, so your body absorbs the nutrients rapidly and more effectively.

Next, Isotonix OPC-3 Powder Drink offers ingredients, which are scientifically proven to provide antioxidant support. In addition these individual OPCs in Isotonix OPC-3 Powder Drink have been shown to provide benefits for various health concerns.

Oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs) are bioflavonoids (or complex organic plant compounds) found in fruits, vegetables and certain tree barks that provide nutritional benefits to the human body. The OPCs chosen for Isotonix OPC-3 Powder Drink are from grapes, bilberries, Pycnogenol® (pine bark) and citrus fruit. Isotonix OPC-3 Powder Drink also contains two additional sources of bioflavonoids: bilberry and citrus extracts.

Isotonix OPC-3 Powder Drink has a pleasant, natural grape flavor and is a vegetarian product.

Isotonix Delivery System

Isotonix products offer one of the most efficient delivery systems in dietary supplements.  Formulated using scientifically proven ingredients, Isotonix products provide both rapid delivery and good results.

Isotonix products are isotonic because they match the fluids in the body, which have an almost constant concentration of dissolved particles like salts, sugars and minerals.  At this concentration, nutrients and molecules essential for cell metabolism are efficiently transported through cell membranes.  Isotonix products are formulated with the proper balance of fructose, glucose, citric acid, potassium bicarbonate and other key ingredients to assure that they are isotonic when properly prepared.

Isotonix products deliver nutrients at the right rate and concentration for complete absorption of the nutrient-dense solution.  Isotonix is one of the most scientifically advanced nutrient delivery systems on the market.

Ingredients

Grape Seed Extract
Grape seed extract are seeds typically from red grapes (instead of white), which have a high content of compounds known as oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). The OPCs are also present in a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, including pine bark (Pycnogenol®) and green tea, where, like grape seed extract, they possess antioxidant properties. These antioxidants help protect cells from free-radical damage, and promote cardiovascular health and vision health. Grape seed extract is extremely rich in polyphenols, a compound that’s high in antioxidants.

Red Wine Extract
Red wine is a naturally occurring antioxidant. It occurs naturally in grape vines, roots, seeds and stalks, with its highest concentration in the skins. Red wine is significantly higher in antioxidant properties than in white wine. This brings up the concept of the French-paradox. In the late 1990s, scientists took note of a phenomenon among the French. There were and still are very high rates of heart health in the provinces where residents ate higher fat foods and drank red wine. The protective properties of red wine are believed to have protected the health of the heart. In test tube and animal studies, red wine extract helped blood vessels remain open and flexible.

Pine Bark Extract
(Pycnogenol®)
Pycnogenol® is a natural plant extract from the bark of the maritime pine tree, which grows exclusively along the coast of southwest France in Les Landes de Gascogne. This unspoiled and natural forest environment is the unique source of Pycnogenol®. The extract has three basic properties — it’s a powerful antioxidant, it selectively binds to collagen and elastin, and it aids in the production of endothelial nitric oxide which promotes healthy vasodilation of blood vessels.

As one of the most potent natural scavengers of free radicals, Pycnogenol® mops-up all kinds of aggressive radicals before they cause any damage via oxidative stress. Its antioxidant capabilities also appears to help strengthen blood vessel walls and capillaries. It helps maintain healthy circulation and cell vitality.

Today, Pycnogenol® is one of the most researched ingredients in the natural product marketplace.

Bilberry Extract
Bilberry extract is derived from the fruit of a common European shrub closely related to the blueberry.

Extracts of the ripe fruit are known to contain flavonoid pigments known as anthocyanins. These pigments act as antioxidants. Scientific studies have shown that bilberry may help to support healthy vision and veins. Bilberry extract also appears to strengthen capillaries and arteries.

Citrus Bioflavonoid Complex
Bioflavonoids are found in certain plants and act as light filters protecting the delicate DNA chains and other important macromolecules of the plant by absorbing ultraviolet radiation.

FAQ

What is Isotonix OPC-3 ?
Isotonix OPC-3 is an isotonic-capable dietary supplement that is made from a combination of grape seed, red wine and pine bark extracts. Isotonic supplements bear chemical resemblance to your own tears and plasma, so your body absorbs the nutrients rapidly and more effectively.
What is a bioflavonoid?
Bioflavonoids are complex organic plant compounds. These compounds are chemically related, yet their chemistry differs from one plant to another. This is obvious from the different colors of fruits and plants, which result from the specific bioflavonoid species they contain. A rapidly increasing number of clinical studies show how bioflavonoids support human health and vascular integrity.
What sets Isotonix OPC-3 apart from other bioflavonoid products?
Isotonix OPC-3 offers scientifically proven OPC that support health. This science-driven selection, coupled with the Isotonix delivery system enables this product to be effectively and efficiently absorbed.

Can you take Isotonix OPC-3 in soda, juice, coffee, etc., rather than water?
It is possible but not recommended. In order to keep the product in anisotonic form and to achieve the maximum delivery speed, it needs to be takenon an empty stomach with 60ml water per capful. To mix the products withanything else slows down the delivery time and may also affect the percentageof uptake.
Does Isotonix OPC-3 have visible benefits?
It is great to take care of your well being, but ultimately we wish other people to notice we are in great shape!

As OPCs support collagen production in the skin, an increase of smoothness and elasticity is the natural consequence. Such an effect was indeed objectively measured in women aged 40 years and older. It requires patience until skin cells have renewed significant amounts of collagen to show visible effects. It is compulsory to continuously take Isotonix OPC-3 to keep skin cells at their peak vitality.

On a short-term basis, many people notice a fresher-looking skin complexion. This is a result of healthy blood micro-circulation, which helps detoxify the skin and improves the nutrient supply.Is IsotonixOPC-3 safe?
Isotonix OPC-3 is safe and free of harmful agents. The product is made in the United States in FDA-inspected facilities using Good Manufacturing Practices. Customers can have confidence in the quality and safety of this product.

It’s really great product!

Isotonic OPC-3

on 09/28/2018

No results yet. Took twice a day for 7 days. Once a day after that. I haven't felt any effect having taken it. I don't like the powder. I'd prefer a liquid or pill or at the very least a proper spout to pour the powder out. I will continue to take until it's completed. Unless I begin feeling an effect, I will not be reordering. It's relatively expensive especially for one on a fixed income. I only wish I could give it a better rating.

Struggling

on 08/08/2018

This product was recommended. I have now taken it for 3 months, not sure there is any change in how I feel. Its very pricey and I hate the way it"s dispensed ! The powder is so messy and gets clumpy. For the expense I think they could package it differently.

It is going to take some time...

Just bought it. It took a year for some effects to show up, so I am waiting.
