Black Angus Beef. Steakhouse Seasoning (salt, spices, dextrose, paprika, modified food starch, dehydrated onion, dehydrated garlic, sugar, mesquite smoke flavoring)

Cooking Instructions:
Preparation Instructions:
Place your Rastelli Oven Ready Beef Tenderloin Roast, sealed in its oven bag, into the refrigerator overnight to defrost. When ready to cook preheat oven to 425F, place roast into an oven safe roasting pan. Using a toothpick or knife make a small hole in the top to release air as it cooks. Then place into the oven and cook for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350 F and continue to cook for 30 to 40 minutes until it reaches 135F using a meat thermometer. (Oven times may vary depending on your oven)

Chef’s Tip: If you like a crispy brown crust on your Roast, cut the top of the cooking bag open for the last 15 – 20 minutes of cooking.

Our cattle are humanely raised in the Midwest. They are antibiotic, steroid, and hormone free, grass-fed and grain finished for a nutty & rich flavor. Steaks are wet-aged for 28 days.
Why Wet-Aged? The biggest difference between the meat served at a restaurant and what you purchase at the grocery store is aging. All of our beef (except ground products) are aged in-house for 28 days. The aging process naturally breaks down enzymes in the meat and reduces exterior moisture levels, condensing more flavor inside each cut. Retail stores usually offer unaged meats because they retain a brighter red color in the display case. Our longer aging process prioritizes flavor and texture, so you can achieve restaurant-quality results in your kitchen.
As mandated by the USDA, cattle are raised and fed through operations that provide a low-stress environment. Animal handling facilities are designed by world-renowned animal care experts, and prioritize delivering access to fresh, clean water and adequate shelter.
