"I have always reliably gotten cash back, plus 10 nights gets you a free night. For those that don't use one hotel chain, this still gives one the benefit of free nights. Not sure what happened with others. Customer service has always been good. I use them for business and have 4 free nights earned in the last year."

I would rate higher as far as the service from them, but they only get 3 stars because of the slow credit for cash back."

I signed up for it after I made a reservation but they never gave me the lower price, even after I complained they never responded. In addition, the hold back the cashback I earned even though they were paid upfront weeks before I fulfilled the reservation. To me, that's fraud and MA ought to pay up front and collect from the store instead of 'floating' our earned money. They can always debit future cashbacks like they do for returns. Since they have our credit card numbers they'll always get their money regardless but we'll get our cashback in a timely manner. As of now I not at all thrilled with hotels.com and will probably never use them again. As for MA, I'm close to dumping them too."
