I hesitated to purchase this for quite a while. In the past, any sort of pink or mauve eyeshadow had the major misfortune of making me look like I had spent a humiliating, painful round in the boxing ring. I decided to leave those days of 'What happened to you?!' firmly behind me. Motives has been my favorite brand for years, and their colors have never steered me wrong, so I took a chance. Ladies, I have strangers stopping me to tell me that they absolutely love my eye makeup, that the eyeshadow is just so beautiful. Far cry from the anxious concern, domestic abuse card at the ready, that used to hallmark my forays into the pink side of things! The sparkle is an even application that is superior in both ease of use and all day wear.

Beautiful neutral tones

I was hoping the pink in the top left corner would a little pinkier as I love that shade. These all are beautiful neutrals with a little pop of glitter.
