Disappointing

I had purchased an Ultimate Aloe Gel years ago and had it in my bathroom cabinet. I didn't have to use it, but when I finally did it was wonderful. I had a reaction to some makeup on my face and it was so inflamed. I put the ultimate aloe gel on it and immediately felt better. I decided to purchase another one (as a spare). I could tell it was different immediately! The gel was thicker and it had a very strong aroma to it. I put it on my face and it didn't do anything - actually, I think it irritated it a little. I took my original aloe container and compared the ingredients - it's not even close! I will not be purchasing it again.

Thank you for your feedback on the Ultimate Aloe® Gel. We apologize that you are not satisfied with the reformulation of this product.
In early 2020, we had to tweak the formula due to a shortage of the original thickening agent caused by Covid-19. This change does not impact the superior soothing benefits of the gel, as all key ingredients are still present, and the product is now paraben-free. We have updated the scent to a subtle bamboo fragrance, which has received positive feedback, but we understand that scent preferences and skin reactions can vary.

The best aloe for healing

I can't say enough about this aloe gel. My husband has sensitive skin and when he gets a sunburn, we put this on. Its fast acting and won't lead to peeling.
I actually used it yesterday when I burnt my finger on the hot glue gun. The blister was already forming so I layered the aloe gel on. Today you can't even tell I had a burn.
